The AVMA Trust is pleased to introduce Dr. Mary Buss, DVM, MBA, who joins the team as the new Head of Strategic Relationships. Dr. Buss brings over three decades of experience in veterinary medicine, leadership, and strategic business development. She has a strong history of building lasting partnerships and aligning business initiatives with a commitment to serving the veterinary profession.
In her role, Dr. Buss works with leaders across the veterinary profession in support of AVMA members, affiliates and national veterinary practices landscape to identify and provide the resources and support that align the needs of the profession. She understands the complexities of the profession and nuances required by the multi-location business model – and the critical importance of protecting an organization's reputation, assets, and personnel.
Dr. Buss also collaborates closely with the AVMA and the AVMA Trust team to identify ways to support members in a constantly changing profession, including delivering access to comprehensive, industry-specific insurance solutions designed by and for the veterinary community.
